We're a community group interested in saving GM free, organic & heirloom vegetable, herb & edible flower seeds. We also enjoy mastering the art of plant propagation. We meet monthly on the Sunshine Coast and you're welcome to join us. Our group is part of the national Seed Savers Network.
We meet on thefirst Sunday of each month between 8.30am - 10.00am. Venue: 145 Ilkley Road, Ilkley, Sunshine Coast.
All welcome to come along for a chat, cuppa, local organic gardening tips, seed saving and plant swap! Gold coin donation.
If you have any seeds that need processing or you'd like to contribute to our community seed bank, bring them along.
Just a note to our Sunshine Coast seed savers, after our busy winter vegie growing season, the rain is now on its way, so its a great time to get out there and save as much seed as you can before the humidity and wet conditions take effect.
