Welcome to the blogspot of the Eudlo Seed Savers Group.
If you live in or around Eudlo (on the Sunshine Coast in Queensland Australia), you're welcome to join our Seed Saving group.
We are part of the national Seed Savers Network and part of Transition Town Eudlo too.
We meet once a month and if you send us an email we can let you know of events happening in the region.
Our aim is to;
learn about seed saving
save and grow non-hybrid, open pollinated, heritage plants
raise awareness about seed saving
share seeds and knowledge
promote and encourage seed saving locally, regionally and nationally
the Eudlo Seed Savers Group
We're a community group interested in saving GM free, organic & heirloom vegetable, herb & edible flower seeds. We also enjoy mastering the art of plant propagation. We meet monthly on the Sunshine Coast and you're welcome to join us. Our group is part of the national Seed Savers Network.
We meet on the first Sunday of each month between 8.30am - 10.00am. Venue: 145 Ilkley Road, Ilkley, Sunshine Coast.
All welcome to come along for a chat, cuppa, local organic gardening tips, seed saving and plant swap! Gold coin donation.
If you have any seeds that need processing or you'd like to contribute to our community seed bank, bring them along.
Follow us on Facebook @ facebook.com/eudloseedsavers for regular updates.
